Bank Statement to Excel Software, Every Feature in One Place
Everything StatementsConverter does, from the first upload to the file you import into the ledger, with the plan each feature is included in.
Built around one question
Can I trust this table enough to post it? Every feature below exists to answer that question faster, whether you convert one statement for a client meeting or a year of statements for forty client folders.
Upload PDFs, scans and photos
Drop text PDFs, scanned PDFs, JPG or PNG images into one upload area. Files are sorted by account and statement period automatically, so twelve months arrive in order without renaming anything. Batch size is 20 files on Starter, 100 on Professional and 200 on Business.
Available on Starter, Professional and Business.
Transaction extraction
Each row is split into date, description, check number, debit, credit and running balance. Descriptions that wrap onto a second or third line are merged into one cell, and page headers, footers and marketing inserts are ignored. The account number ending, statement period and balances are captured as header fields.
Available on Starter, Professional and Business.
Balance check on every statement
Opening balance plus credits minus debits has to equal the closing balance, and each page is checked on its own as well. A mismatch is shown inside the table on the exact page and row range where the numbers stop agreeing, so you correct one row instead of rereading the statement.
Available on Starter, Professional and Business.
Table editor
Review the result in the browser before export. Edit any cell, split a row that was read as one, merge two rows that belong together, delete a duplicate, flip the sign of an amount and undo any change. The balance check recalculates after every edit.
Available on Starter, Professional and Business.
Exports for Excel and accounting apps
XLSX and CSV are included on every plan. Professional and Business add QBO for QuickBooks Web Connect, QIF for Quicken, OFX and the Xero precoded CSV. Export one file per statement or one merged file per account covering the whole period.
XLSX and CSV on Starter, all formats on Professional and Business.
Categorization with client rules
Rows get a suggested category mapped to the client's chart of accounts. When you correct a category, the rule is saved for that client, so the next month's statements arrive already coded the way you code them.
Available on Professional and Business.
Client workspaces
Keep each client's statements, rules and exports in a separate workspace, so a batch for one client never mixes with another. Professional includes 25 client workspaces, Business has no limit.
Available on Professional and Business.
Team seats and roles
Starter has 1 seat, Professional 3 seats and Business 15 seats. On Business, roles control who can upload, edit, export and manage billing.
Seats on every plan, roles on Business.
REST API with webhooks
Send statements from your own system, poll or receive a webhook when conversion finishes, and pull transactions or a finished export file. Details are on the bank statement parser page.
Available on Business.
SSO, audit log and retention controls
Sign in through your identity provider with SAML single sign on, keep an audit log of uploads, edits, exports and sign ins, and set how long files are kept.
Available on Business.
Invoice billing and uptime SLA
Yearly Business subscriptions can be paid by invoice, and Business includes a 99.9 percent uptime SLA.
Available on Business.
Security by default
Files are encrypted in transit and at rest and deleted automatically after 24 hours unless a Business account sets a different retention period. Customer files are never used to train models and are visible only to the account that uploaded them. More on the bank statement data security page.
Available on Starter, Professional and Business.

Yearly billing is 24, 74 and 249 USD a month, or 49, 149 and 499 USD on monthly billing. Business Plus adds 12,000 pages a month at 499 USD a month billed yearly or 999 USD monthly, with everything in Business.
Why dedicated software beats a generic PDF converter
A general PDF to spreadsheet tool sees text positions, not transactions. It splits one payment into two rows when the description wraps, merges a deposit with the line under it, and turns a trailing minus into a separate column. None of that is visible until the reconciliation is off by an amount nobody can trace.
Statement software knows what a statement is: it expects an opening balance, a closing balance, debits and credits, and it refuses to call a conversion finished until those agree. That is the difference between a table and a table you can post. The reading itself is described step by step in how to convert bank statement to Excel.
Which features are on every plan?
Uploads of PDFs, scans and photos, transaction extraction, the balance check, the table editor, security defaults and XLSX and CSV exports are on Starter and above.
What do I gain by moving to Professional?
Accounting formats (QBO, QIF, OFX, Xero CSV), categorization rules, 25 client workspaces, 3 seats, batches of 100 files and 1,500 pages a month.
Is there a monthly option?
Yes. Every plan can be billed monthly and cancelled anytime, running to the end of the paid period. Yearly billing costs half as much per month.
Do deleted files give pages back?
No. Pages are counted as usage in each billing period when a file is converted, and the allowance resets with the next period.
